Many of us have been impacted by grief over this past year. Even before Covid, SLPC leadership wanted to launch this critical ministry and it is more important now than ever. Grief is one of the most excruciating human experiences, as we feel the full force of the curse. At the same time, it can be extremely isolating as others struggle to relate to your pain. Many in grief feel a depth of aloneness at a time when they most need community!
GriefShare provides the opportunity to mourn alongside others who understand your experience. It supplies valuable teaching and discussion to help you process your loss, and tools to cope with your new reality. GriefShare is a redemptive community shining the hope of the gospel into the darkness of grief.
We will meet Wednesdays from 7-9, beginning September 15 and concluding December 15 (excepting November 24). If you are interested in participating in GriefShare at SLPC this fall, please contact Dave White: dwhite@slpca.org.
