Cris Clark delivers Christ-centered counseling, at Springton Lake Presbyterian Church, to individuals and families throughout Delaware County, regardless of their affiliation with the church. She has been counseling for 22 years and has a master's degree in counseling. She is committed to securing the confidentiality of her clients, a value supported by the church, which makes no effort to learn about, review, or discuss her cases.
"I consider it essential that my clients enjoy a non-threatening and non-judgmental counseling environment. I meet the person where they are in life - with no agenda on my part. We discuss what they want to discuss. I welcome non-believers who want to explore issues of spirituality."
Cris has office hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays but she makes herself available for those who need another day of the week. She specializes in depression, anxiety, adjustments to seasons of life, family issues, marital counseling, and personality issues. Thanks to the support of the church, she is able to offer a sliding scale fee structure to make counseling affordable to those who are struggling financially.
"My counseling ministry is blessed by the fact that Springton Lake Presbyterian Church views it as a valuable service, another way they can show love to the residents of Delaware County."
