Join us for worship this Sunday!

This Sunday we continue our preaching series from the Gospel of Mark. In our passage for Sunday (Mark 6:30-44), Jesus travels by boat across the Sea of Galilee – seeking rest for his team and looking for a quiet place to pray. But Jesus will find no peace – he can’t escape the crowd, which he describes as sheep without a shepherd.

Life in the 1st century was hard – food was in short supply. Bodies were broken. People of all ages and backgrounds were desperate for healing.

Today, Jesus still invites us to follow him as our gentle Shepherd. Just like he did for his disciples after the resurrection, he wants our focus to shift from sorrow and disbelief to astonishment and joy!

Please join us this Sunday, April 19 at 10:00 a.m. as we worship together online. You can access the video service here (or click the banner on our homepage).

  • To prepare your heart download the Order of Worship - Songs, Prayers, and Scripture.

  • This service will be archived on the website so that you can worship anytime.

  • Also, let me encourage you to follow-up with a phone call to those you invited to watch our Easter Service. Remember, the Word of God is a powerful seed that can produce the fruit of faith when planted in the soil of a heart made tender by love and prayer.

Finally, please:

Continue to pray: The Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) invites Christians to join in 30 days of prayer for the church, the nation, and the world in response to the current COVID-19 crisis. As people suffer physically and economically, the month-long prayer initiative provides a structured way to pray for the needs inside and outside the church. Visit pcaga.org/prayer to download the month-long guide or explore topics day-by-day.

Keep checking in with family, friends, and neighbors: A phone call to listen, share the Word, and pray will make a difference!

We recommend these Resources to help keep you and your family spiritually strong.
